I started this company to help myself and others create independence and health through simple, non-toxic construction methods that are locally sustainable and easy to teach. By focusing on practices that protect the long-term health of our homes, our land, and our waterways, Arkwain endeavors to set the highest of standards for green construction and land use planning.

This company was born from 20+ years of experience, experimentation, and education in the field of sustainable construction and permaculture design done by its founder. Today we continue to build on that legacy and strive for excellence in everything we do.

Arkwain's home hub, StoneSmithy pavilian, and equipment/materials storehouse is neighbored by the founders farmstead, Wetwoods Farm, where small scale resin production, custom big timber oak frames, and wetland tree farming thrives.

I've done everything under the sun to make my dreams a reality, from going to college to learn Autocad and survey skills, taking classes from any and all experts adjacent to my work, to delving deep into local and state codes and statutes, to learning the rules to wetland delineations and permit-by-rule, to studying geology patterns to identify mineral veins and material attributes better. There's nothing I won't do or overcome to make a healthy home for my family and yours.
